Hold your horses. Things may not always be as they appear. I did some digging on this coin and found that the OP picture may be enhanced a bit, or that the following image may just be cr@p.
I'm reversing my judgement that this coin is wholly "LOVELY"
Please also look at this image, if you can, befofe making a guess. Soory for the small size of the image, but its the best I can get.
You know, I usually wouldn't reveal the grade on these "Guess the Grade" thread this early, but I feel that this coin is not as it appears.
The coin grades NGC-65BN. This coin has a killer strike, and essentially mark-free surfaces. The die crack, noting it a Hoard coin, adds to the appeal, but I feel the colors are enhanced and manipulated.
There are better 1820's out there, and I should have been more patient before throwing this coin up here.
If you guys/gals disagree with this most recent assumption of mine, please explain it to me, because I feel embarrassed posting this coin here.

The die crack doesn't -- in and of iteself -- indicate this is from the Hoard. There are a few exampes, including in mint state, from this date that weren't in the hoard. However, the very typical blue-green toning makes the coin virtually instantly identifiable as one of the Randall coins....Mike

Second picture I'd have guessed MS62BN.
The colors could have been manipulated.
<< <i>my genetic code does not support my provision of a grade for that large cent
At least you know your limitations.

I can picture some big fumblefingered buffoon, eating fried chicken and just finger-finger-fingering that poor coin.
