I've never been impressed with the card design. Honestly, the is design is UGLY. It's a shame that Yount & Brett couldn't have had a better card design
Hockeyguy, I'll take some of the heat for you. I, too, have never been a big fan of the '75's. I don't care for the design nor the limited stats on the back. I'm especially antagonistic toward the minis because they have hampered me in my quest to upgrade my '75 regular set. On many occasions I've gotten excited thinking I've finally found an elusive high-grade card, only to discover upon closer look that it's a stinkin' Mini! Those little bleepers have a nack for getting in the way.
I'll take the 75 over any Topps baseball design the last 5 years. They went three years with just barely changing a font, then went black, and now back to almost the same design as the 2004-2006. Perhaps Topps hired only one designer 5 years ago and fired him (or her....gotta be politically correct) only forgot to replace him/her.
Collecting PSA graded Steve Young, Marcus Allen, Bret Saberhagen and 1980s Topps Cards. Raw: Tony Gonzalez (low #'d cards, and especially 1/1's) and Steve Young.

I'm prepared for the bashing to come :-) >>
I'm probably one of the few people who agree with you.
<< <i>Are these pics the same ones from that rip thread?
I know there were some pics of when zef and Gary went to Steve's place to get them.
They look very familiar. >>
I don't know for sure Matt, but I agree with you, it seems I've seen those pictures before. I can't tell if the shirt that's barely in the first picture is a Big Dogs brand or not. The pink fuzzy couch looks as if it came from Stepanie's closet though. So who really knows?

are you afraid that I cant read English ? I told you that I would start first thing tomorrow what the problem ? did I forget to say "thanks" ? ok - THANKS :-)

I haven't taken offense to anything you've typed yet, I just don't care whether you read the thread I linked or not. Also, you marrying the wrong woman is a completely different issue.
I'm just wondering why a guy who asked for info that was given to him and who by his own admission doesn't even like 75 minis has the most posts in this thread...

Where do I start? The hockey fan thing is too easy.

I'll take it over EVERYTHING that came after it, but I'd sell it as soon as I got my hands on it :-)

Edited to add: I did not see that Matt had asked the same question, but it's the third picture that is the most familiar to me.

Yep. Check the serial number stamped on the side (212351).
Welcome back Gary. Now go away.
<< <i>Dang gumby, fine work. That is indeed a Big Dogs shirt in the photo. And maybe that's Gary's arm and not a pink furry couch. >>
Yep, that's his arm, his black shirt, his tan pants and the inexpensive wood desk in the background with the briefcase on it seals the deal.
Edited to add...and the table the case is sitting on makes it sort of obvious, as well.
I dont think I remember it
