I've seen lots of silver pop ups but never one from a copper cent!
I
bid
on it but not enough.
I decided to change calling the bathroom the John and renamed it the Jim. I feel so much better saying I went to the Jim this morning.
The name is LEE!

Where would one find this type of coin? Does anyone specialize in the sale of them? Are they called "pop-up" coins?

I just happened across this one and I do think they are referred to as Pop-Up coins.
I'm really disappointed that I didn't win it as I was poised for a much larger bid but my "timing" was off.

That one would likely get jammed in the gum ball machine.

A local dealer here had a whole set of those in a box,5 or 6 of them if I remember right.
They weren't cheap,or I would have bought them.

It wasn't easy, but with some friendly persuasion I convinced mine into the slab
I had an old PCGS slab laying around

Gees, I am not really into such things, but those are pretty cool. I would have gone higher on the cent than the high bidder did if I had known about it.
