i have $45 to spend at BBCE.. what packs would you get and why?

    I've been thinking about 86 Topps baseball lately. Why? Just because I haven't ripped any since 1988.

    1989 Bowman Rack Pack Box ($18.00)
    1988 Fleer Rack Pack Box ($25.00)

    Because Rack Packs with stars and RC's on the top are cool.
    Collecting PSA graded Steve Young, Marcus Allen, Bret Saberhagen and 1980s Topps Cards.
    Raw: Tony Gonzalez (low #'d cards, and especially 1/1's) and Steve Young.

    3 packs 1977 OPC baseball.

    Throw in a few more bucks and get a case of 89 Fleer racks if Steve has any left. Got mine yesterday and had two packs with Griffey on top. Rookies on top really are cool.

    I would get a 79 wax tray pack for $40.00 as 79 was one of the years I was buying lots of cards as a kid. Good memories!image

    BBCE is out of 1989 Fleer racks. At least they are no longer listed on their site.

    What kind of ripoff is this? $40.00 when the packaging says twenty cents? Outrageous! image

    Go for a 75 mini pack and hope for a nice centered low pop card for submission. I did it, got a PSA 9 Carew and sold it for 450 and I got to keep the rest of my cards! Or get a Box of 1978 Three's Company and drool over all the Chrissy cards!
