Need Paypal USPS Help !!!!!

Good Day,
So about a month, maybe 5 weeks ago, some clown wins three of my auctions, total $15.00 bucks. I expect to get check in the mail. After two weeks I start gettingt nasty I am not happy where are my cards E-Mails. Politly reply...No Payment..No Cards. This goes on for about 2 more weeks. Finally I get tired of the BS e-mails, and (My Mistake) cause I know this didn't happen, but tell him that I will send cards whether I lost the payment or never recieved it, as a Good Customer Service gesture I will just send him the cards.
So last Fri. I package up, send USPS with Delivery Confimation. I never do DC under $50 bucks, but the little voice tells me this A$$ Clwn will be a problem, so I go ahead and purchase the DC.
Yesterday morning he files a Paypal/E-bay dispute, three of them for the three auctions. I answer all three explaining that items were mail last fri. He waits a couple of hours and then closes them and files with Paypal claim of not delivered. Then he goes and Negs me. First Neg with Feedback of 2900 Positive. I had already left him positive a couple of weeks ago in a bulk Feedback lot by mistake.
So I looked up on line the DC and all it will tell me is that it was recieved by Denver USPS on the 21st, nothing more.
Paypal has frozen my account of $300+ dollars for this $15 transaction, can't pay for my Auction wins yesterday. Can't do anything.
What the He!! do I do? Please help!!!
Neil

  • They froze your entire account over 15.00? Something is not right there. I have a dispute that has been open for 2 weeks now that the item shows recieved but Paypal will not close it for some reason. Its only 8.00 but that is all that is frozen only thing i cannot do is withdraw to my bank account but the Debit card works fine and I can pay for wins as usual.

If you did not get DC you are screwed with Paypal. Best bet is to end the dispute by refunding and move on all sellers are running into idiot buyers who are fast to leave negs
  • you are fine since you got DC....put the details of the DC # into the claim....
If you didn't get DC you were screwed....
  • Good Day,
Clarification, Now I am even confusing myself, the Paypal problem has nothing to do with this issue, I figured out what the issue was there and it is straightened out. My Paypal is fine, This clown either never sent payment or it was lost in mail, either way he didn't pay with PayPal. So this problem is the Neg and the Non Delivery claim he has filed with E-Bay!!!
But I did get DC, so what do I do next??? And is there a way once this is proven that the A$4Bite got his Free cards that I can get the Neg removed???

  • You will not have any luck getting the neg removed. I have a neg from a buyer whose neg is "I am doing this to all my competition" It is a clear violation of Ebay rules and they won't remove it. I have reported it several times, now it is like on page 5 or 6 so I am not worried about it.

An INR complaint with Ebay means nothing if Paypal was not involved.
  • Hi Neil,

Sorry to hear about this mess, but it looks like you did everything
you could to please this bozo.

We've always used DC no matter what the purchase price (most of ours are over $50 though).

As Craig19 said above ... just add the DC info to your claim.

The bad news is that the neg probably won't disappear unless you're a powerseller.

Our powerseller rep has removed a couple negs for us before, in fact, one
was erased last week. We had remnants of Hurricane Ike hit our city and knocked out
the electric for days. A buyer sent us a neg because we didn't answer his emails.

A friend of ours, also a powerseller, told us that a neg was removed for him recently too.

Good luck ... hope everything works out for you.

  • I am a silver powerseller and Ebay refuses to remove the neg I mentioned above.

Neil, it's worth a shot to go through EBAY and explain the circumstance. With that kind of feedback hopefully they'll consider removing the negs. Sorry about that mess. Amazing that you go above and beyond and get this.
  • Neil,

  • Looked at the neg it will not be removable under Ebay rules unless you just get lucky.

I still can't understand why you sent without him paying. I would have wanted proof of payment before sending. If he sent a check that is real easy to get.

It sounds like you were targeted by this scammer because of your 100% Feedback rating. It happens alot these scammers go after sellers on relativly cheap items believing the seller will give in to thier demands to protect their 100%. Trust me the first neg stings but you will soon forget and your customers will never blink.

There really is no "solution" here.

Happily, it is not a PayPal deal.

It is NEVER a good idea to send free stuff to NPBs; no payment, no stuff.

    ............

    Some Safety Measures........

    Stop accepting paper-payments.

Stop selling cheap-stuff on EBAY. (Both ebid and delcampe are viable alts.)

Either find a lawyer friend/relative who will sue EBAY/PayPal each time they
tort you, or learn to litigate pro se and bury the SCUM in lawsuits.

Start filing suit against SCAMSTER "buyers." Once the media picks up on
a few hundred such stories, the non-pro scammers will vanish.

Use the BBB in northern California to swamp PayPal with complaints,
each time they help scamsters steal from you. (A very high-percentage
of such complaints are quickly settled in the sellers' favor.)

    ...........

When a company does NOT want a customer's business, the customer
loses ALL levearge in dealing with the company. That is the position
that small/medium-sellers find themselves in with EBAY. This circumstance
    will not soon change.

  • Good Day,
I guess the reason I sent without payment was to try and so the right customer service thing, My Bad!!!!
Now this As$Wipe has soured me on that tact. I usually end up doing this once or twice a year, low dollar item, no big deal. I always thought I was just doing the right thing, never realized that Dipwads would scam you using the new Feedback system.
I guess you live and learn.
All of my Auctions are now converted to PayPal only, so moving forward I shoudn't have to deal with this circumsatnce again. I will just have to deal with whatever the next pain with FeeBay is!!!!!!
    Thanks

I have stopped doing ANY auctions on EBAY. If/when they figure out
a "direct pay" scheme - payment credited at auction end - I may use
    auctions again.

I am doing only FP with Immediate Payment Required.

    .......

ebid has bidders and the traffic is GROWING much faster than I expected.

Also, delcampe is very nice and easy; high-class buyers. TONS of foreign
buyers, but you can exclude them if you choose. They have more listings
    than EBAY does.
