1899 matte proof as confirmation of french connection...kinda jaw dropping matte proof gold piece here that merely fetched $1,260 too

but enjoy duane...don't be surprized if we both oneday chuckle over both having one to keep abe companyimage

    heritage archives looken for a gold coin to post for a thread

    but thought as watersport had thought too that matte proof was a french derivative so i looked up matte proof gold

    ya know...someway shape or form...i'm finding i fell into "matte proof love"

    copper-silver-gold...there's just something about the surface finishimage

    as that's an incredible gold matty there
