How's my pictures coming along?

Guess the grade if you want and comments on the photography would be really great. I have Mark's book and have applied some of the tips. The best tip I've received is the tripod and using the 2-sec timer. Same setup I've been using, two fluorescent lights with the Canon PS.

I'm also checking out the VAM's so if someone could help that would be nice too.

Just the built-in macro function. VAM anyone? I'm looking at Vamworld so I see the 8/7 mark but any others (if any) are hard to see.

I would lighten it a little. Unless you had a black background behind the slab is seems just a little dark especially on the bottom of the images.

The lights are at 10:00 and 2:00 but what darkened it a bit was changing from center weighted average to spot. Using the center weighting really washed out the details. I like the darker look better but I could move the lights a little closer.
