    Very nice-plain design but it gets the job done, tells you exactly what it is and is pleasing to look at. The leaves on the reverse look more like real leaves then the current design does to me, as that looks more like a idealized leaf to me. Maybe I'm just picky because I had 4 Maples in my yard at one point! image My oldest Canadain is a 1942 cent which I got in a bulk lot.

    Don, I am not sure. I will try and do some research when I get back home. I do not
    know a lot about these coins I was just pleased with the look of this particular one.

    You've got one very nice coin there.The King George V small 1c. coins are very hard to find in a nice condition like this one.
