Need Opinions!

Hey guys, just curious what your take is on sending in a large submission 15-cards or more versus 3 cards or less, are the chances you will get better grades something to consider?, or am i way off base? i guess i ask this beacuse last month i sent in about 19 cards and well i thought they could have been graded more higher, so i guess im kind of gun shy now....all responses accepted!

    Yes,
    My opinion is that sending in cards to PSA for grading will cause you to be very happy or very sad.

    There is no correct answer to this question. I am scared to send in a large submission because I am afraid I will get the grader who got flipped off in traffic coming to work and is mad at the world and will take it out on my cards. Then again, I am afraid to send in a small sub and end up with the one grader that used to work for PRO or GEM grading and gives 10's to everybody. Then I will be mad that I didn't send in a larger sub.

    I've heard that it depends more on the grader than the number of submissions.

    A novice grader, though labeled professional, might tend to undergrade for fear of
    criticism of overgrading, or perhaps undergrading.

    Does the new grader get the modern era cards? Does the veteran grader get the vintage?
    I'm not sure, but I would imagine that it goes by their expertise at some point.

    We only sub vintage Mantle cards and, quite frankly, we have been more than
    pleased with all results so far.

    I've read on these boards that when some guys aren't happy with their grades, they just
    crack and resubmit. Experience and a talented eye surely helps with their decision.

    dunno. the off-shoulder blouse/miniskirt combo goes well with the stilettos, but that little black strapless dress.....just, WOW!

    that's my opinion. you decide.
