  • No, they are not regular 1971 Topps baseball cards. They were a test issue with 3 cards per pack.

  • thanks guys
  • i know you'll think i'm lying.. but got me a stash of 71 unopened rack packs, in a legit pretty mint box.. ain't ever gunna open the rest of the packs.. gunna 'pass it on'.

this ain't a joke.. .. in 1971 my mom used to take me to a 'TG&Y' store on McDowell and 74th st. where i grew up. The mom bought me cheech and chong albums.. and baseball cards. (quite the cool mom) I still have 9 rack packs in a box that my mom had taken, I guess after i got bored with cards at that time, or that night... I ain't touchin 'em. They are not included in my current card world. The packs and box do not exist to me, except for the storage box they are in. I friggin love knowing that. Cards are friggin COOL !

that is how cool 1971 Topps cards are.

I also sold around 7000 69-74 topps cards in 1977... freshman in high school.. sold 'em to some dude who advertised in the paper seeking cards... took 80 bucks... bought a big 'ole bag of weed with the 80 bucks. All my cards, were simply smoked, within days. ugh.
