Morgan Dollar Buffs (I added a couple more)

I've had this coin for over a decade but never developed an interest in Morgans. I have a few of them.

Can anyone give me some insight on this coin? Possible grade, value?

Thanks!

Nice dollar. Common date and a nice MS62/3. I think just a bit too many hits on the face
of Miss Lib to get any higher than a 62 on the obverse. Reverse, as is typical, is a bit better.
Rim bumps are pretty small in hand and would not effect the value. Value is $25 or so.
    Just a great keeper!

Many new Orleans mint were lightly struk, this one has a decent strike. Check your light balance , MS 63 my bet.

That 87P looks like its a clash. (Is there a diagonal line coming out from where the jaw hits the neck and on the reverse, a straight line coming up from the eagle's wing toward In God?) I see that the second 8 has a chip where the loops meet, too. Some better pics with some close ups of these areas would be helpful.

  • I'm going to have to get home to answer that question...not till tonight.
