100% feedback > authentication

So I'm checking out a card I would absolutely love to have in my collection. However, the sig on the card is not authenticated by a major third party grader. If you have read my site you know that I'll be the first to acknowledge that the slab doesn't always mean something is legit. However, when looking at a $1K card with an unauthenticated sig with no return policy stated, you should be able to ask questions about the sig.
So I ask a question about the origins of the sig and follow it up with a response asking about the possibility of the card being authenticated. Bombs away:
<< <i>I have NOTHING authenicated...because there IS NO AUTHENTICATION..ONLY OPINIONS >>
<< <i>believing that ANY "AUTHENTICATING" agency is real is a problem...see SCD and other publications who tested these folks. >>
<< <i>whether anyone buys this or not is not important >>
<< <i>If you are not comfortable with 900 positives and 100% feedback...is fine...but don't bank on ANY of these "AUTHENICATORS"... >>
Yikes.

The market - right or wrong - has decided they have some confidence
in those slabs. Thus, I can move in/out of such items easily.
