Seller terms: Actually it's a diamond in the rough, it's been appraised already and it's a $10,000.00 coin. So cheezhed I'm now blocking you as a buyer and from emailing me. One more insulting email from you and I will report you to ebay.

image Nah, I don't think you were out of line. Clueless people do this all the time on eBay...every once in awhile it's fun to let them know what their coin is actually worth, but they'll never believe you. I got a good chuckle out of it, thanks image

Must be worth extra for the sock smell.

Can a TPG preserve the smell?

    In a word, yes.

If they want to try to find a guppy to pay the price it's really none of our business. Regardless of what the coin is worth, a $10 offer isn't resonable for his asking price, I'm sure he felt you were just trying to stir the pot.

The answer is... " I found it in Grandpa's sock drawer"

What is ..... an example of a lame story ebay scammers use to convince you to everpay for their Junk.

Another data point as to why eBay should cut its FVF and hike the listing fees. The cheaper you make the listing fee, the more crap you can throw against the wall like this, hoping only a little of it can stick.

Why do these clowns always resort to the old "I'll report you" routine? I'll bet if you email him again he'll start the "I'm going to sue you" statements. image

Looks like: The seller ended this listing early because the item is no longer available for sale.

it does not have much wear.

So what's your problem, cheezhead? It's got some battle scars from being in Grandpa's sock drawer but hey,it doesn't have much wear.

I remember having one of these (1880-O) many years ago that had just the slightest bit of wear.It was a $20 coin then.Might be a $30 coin now,I suppose.

I don't think you are out of line or insulting, cheezhead. It's auctions like this that are the real insult to folks.

I wonder what kind of toning can come from 60 years in Grandpa's dirty, sweaty sock...
