    Nice Newp's Alan.

I really like the reverse strike of the 1824, and how the die was really weakening by then.

    Alan,

Nice grabs. It's always fun to compare a few next to each other - such distinctive character, no matter the grade. I'm not near my books so I can't have the fun of figuring out the varieties at the moment, although I think the 24 might be a the one with the close ED relationship - O. 115 or 116? What's up with the jagged mark above the knot on the obverse? Reminds me of the "loose screw" on some of the 1809s.
