    Nice, I've had a few of them with the wooden box. Some of those can have a nice prooflike finish on them. Problem is most have hairlines in the field.

    I'm pretty sure the box is original to that Medal/type of medal.

    I've seen these medals in those boxes before, and recall that they are very rare to find that way.

    Again, I could be wrong and I won't stake my reputation on it, but if I'm right then I'm fine with that.
