Doran Of Illinois Coin Shows is pleased to announce the Fall 2008 Mt. Vernon Coin & Currency Show. The show will be held on Sunday, September 28, 2008 at the Rolland Lewis Community Building, located at 800 S. 27th St. (Veterans Memorial Park), in Mt. Vernon, IL. Show hours are from 9am to 3:30pm. Parking and admission is free. There will be dealers from Illinois, Indiana, and Missouri buying and selling coins, currency, and bullion. Sorry if I had to "bump" this thread, but since it is sort of buried among others, I thought I would bring it to the attention of those interested (especially those from Central & Southern Illinois, SW Indiana, Western Kentucky, and SE Missouri (including St Louis.)
My last show had a pretty decent turnout, and I am sure this show will too. For this show I gained quite a few dealers and invited the local club to set up a table. And speaking of tables, I have some left for those interested - $35 for the first one, $30 for each additional one. If interested, PM me.
And for those from the Chicago area, I am reviving the coin show in the Kankakee area (after an 11 year hiatus). Mark your calendars for Sunday, March 15, 2009 - that is when this new show will be held. And I am also selling tables for that show - $40 for the first table, $35 for each additional. If anyone is interested in that show, PM me.

For those who are geographically-challenged (yes, these people really do exist), Bradley is 30 minutes away from the south suburbs of Chicago along I-57. Close, Your Madness, but no cigar (not a fat Havana one, anyways). Its actually 1 hour and 15 minutes from downtown St. Louis (in the middle of southern Illinois where I-57 meets I-64), and roughly that same distance from Evansville, Indiana. In fact, I have quite a few dealers from Indiana who set up, I do have some from the St Louis area as well.
