Tickets are just way too much money tho, seeing prices from 500 bucks! I figure just go down, check it out, maybe get mugged, and who know maybe find a ticket for cheap!

As I knew going in, the surrounding area of the stadium is nothing to write home about, although the new stadium looks sick from the outside.
I'm glad I went.
I find it kinda interesting though that they didn't even acknowledge Roger Clemens in the video montage on the scoreboard.

Just out of curiosity, who do you think is the "most senior" living member of the Yankee family? I think I have to go with Lawrence Berra. (It doesn't necessarily have to be a player.)
I think if I could have anything tonight (with regard to Yankee Stadium), I would want a 105 year old Lou Gehrig in attendance.

Bill Werber played for the Yankees in 1930 and 1933. He was born Jun 20, 1908, making him now 100 years old. He's also the only still-living player to have appeared in the 1934 Goudey set.
Edited to add the following:
Here are the oldest living ex-Yankees:
Bill Werber - 100
Lonny Frey - 98
Tommy Henrich - 95
Ed Levy - 91
Virgil Trucks - 91
Randy Gumpert - 90
Ken Holcomb - 90
Yogi Berra is a relatively young 83.
