Wow, I love this Clemente

I bought this 56 Clemente on the Bay and it came today. I figured it was super clean for a 4 from the scan but now I have it in hand and I literally can't see any faults on the card. I suspect if I break it out I'll find a light crease but this card looks like a strong 8 in the holder. Every now and then I guess we get a pleasant surprise!

I agree the card look very nice for a a vg/ex grade and its centered very well. Nice pickup.

Amazing card for a 4!!!!

I'ld be proud to own it - not sure how they derived the grade - but careful examination might be needed - it just may have a wrinkle - but still - that should keep it more like a 5 IMO.

If the price is right - since it's for a collection - can't see why it would be necessary to do anything with the card other than like it and show it off?

Now - if one was considering a flip? Ya might get lucky.

Either way congratulations on a really nice card SP.

Is that a print line or a crease running from left to right through the middle of the card? It runs through Pirates on his jersey and his eyes on the big picture of him.

Either way, that is one sweet Clemente! Nice pickup.

What you're seeing has something to do with the card's backround. I'm guessing it is some sort of bill board. The line you see is only on the backround pic and does not extend all the way to the card's borders.

Every copy of this card on Ebay has the same line.
