btw, they flashed a little stat that impressed me. definitely not-dave-kingman like finishes:
last 3 years sept averages:
2005 was like .360 9 HRs, 2006 was .290 w/ 8 HRs, 2007 was .370 w/ 11 HRs or similar...

    I will update the MVP thread, but Myers has melted down after Howard put his team ahaed. 10 ER in this game. OUCH!

    Yeah you spoke too soon Hyperion Florida just answered with 6 more runs!


    regardless, at the time of his HR Howard was playing in a 5 to 4 game

    was pretty painful to watch... when the phils got into trouble, they really REALLY got dinged.
    big blow was that amezzega guy getting his 3rd HR of the year on a 2 strike pitch 2 outs from seanez to go from a 6-8 lead to a 6-11 lead.
    deathblow.

    ah well. can't win 'em all.
