Grades posted.

I sent in my wife's 1941 and 1942 proof sets. We believe they were original. They were in Capitol Plastics holders.
I think the nickels would have bumped a grade if I dipped them. One had kinda neat toning if I remember so I wouldn't have dipped that one in any case. The Cents were a disappointment. I thought they would go 64. The silver was all at or within 1 point of what I expected. Considering it all I am happy with the results. The certified coins are worth more than the sets in Capitol holders after factoring in grading and shipping costs so it was a sound economic decision.
No offense to you Washington Quarter guys but these proofs don't look all that much different than well struck biz strike examples so seem a bit ho-hum to me. I guess you might say the same thing about the Jeffs but I am a proof Jeff guy and I like them just fine.
The dimes and halves are super looking! I'll post some photos when they arrive. I guess the cents are nothing special, and not worth all that much in these grades, but I like them anyway.

Good catch Carl- now show what you had to begin with and what the house labeled them at- for a comaprison shot- we seem to do better than some of the kool aide stands on the south edge of towne.
It does show how those coppers did not hold up as well as the silver.
