the same as this medal here


Or am I missing something?

That's a modern restrike and I think I recall reading the seller holds the exclusive rights to striking these

They're clearly different, but I'm not sure why one is 9X the price of the other.

I don't think so. Look at the two spots on the reverse of the Heritage coin - one directly above and very close to the shield and one in the right field above the lion. I don't see these marks or anything similar on the other one.

well, if you actually look at the pictures of the medals you've linked you'll see some very clear differences. evidentally the bidders see some collectible value in the dual dated issue from 1976 whereas the identical copy is readily available.

I bought one of those Paris Mint restrikes from Talisman and the do not have any inscriptions on the edge as mentioned in the auction.
It is a different coin for sure.

I think she was talking about them being the same issue, not the exact same medal
