1968 Pittsburgh Pirates signed ball thoughts...

A poker player friend of mine has come across one in his wife's family. He said the sigs are faded a bit but they are all there.

I am thinking of a sale value of $300-$400 depending of where the Clemente and Stargell are. Un authenticated price

IS this out of range?

Anyone have any sites I can check for past auctions that aren't named Ebay?

Thanks,

Jon

PS trying to get pics of the ball .

PPS- WHat yould the PSA fee for this to be authenticated?

I think you need to establish that it's an authentic hand signed ball (as opposed to the stamped/facsimile souvenir balls that we find often) before making any real decisions on it. Please get a pic up as soon as possible & we'll go from there!

A good NL ball with Clemente and Stargell is worth more than 3-400 to me, if the sigs are good and you don't like it you can make a profit on me.

IIRC there were a couple bat boys for the Pirates who signed Clemente's name almost as well as he did. One did most TTM requests in 1972 from what I have read.

    Pics would help a lot
