I'm keeping the nickel set for the forseeable(?) future or until I catch your old set.

dpoole! One of these days!
In God We Trust.... all others pay in Gold and Silver!
I guess you were serious in earlier threads about enjoying the Type Sets. Hmmm sounds like your going hunting in the High Desert

The people at David Lawrence told me they and Bill are grossly insulted by a bid only 10% over what SPOOLY would pay.
I can see their point.
I gotta rethink my strategy here!

We know what Bill is bringing to the table over in Type land. But we like him because he shows us pictures of those coins that most of us only get to see in auction catalogs or the Redbook. That and he keeps High Desert on his toes.

Your only hope is to distract him and lure him away somehow, from YOUR series!
Suggestions are gratefully accepted.
("Hey, Billy! That's no challenge! MS70's are a dime a dozen in the Type sets!")
("Hey, Billy! You ever thought about stamp collecting?")
("Hey, Billy! You wife has her eye on that little island in French Polynesia...")

We've been trying to talk High Desert into collecting Charlotte and Dahlonega gold for a while now to no avail. Maybe Bill would like one of those series.

They have the Walkers and SLQ sets available for inquiry as well when I looked today. Great sets and I am definitely pondering an upgrade or two.
