Hits Leader at Yankee Stadium. The scorers decision on the hit was suspect, but i'm sure he's glad to finally accomplish it and on a 10 for 16 tear to boot.

I thought I was alone wondering why they were making such a big deal about this.
Jeter is one of the all time greats and Yankee Stadium is packed with tradition. I can't help thinking if the Yankees were still realistically competing for the playoffs this wouldn't be this monumental.
