I"ve never seen that one before either, and you might be able to get rid of the prints by dipping (gasp!) the coin.

"Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you." -Luke 11:9

"Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD: And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might." -Deut. 6:4-5

"For the LORD is our judge, the LORD is our lawgiver, the LORD is our king; He will save us." -Isaiah 33:22
  • Thought about it but I can't get that stuff for dipping over here and a bit scared of ruining the coin anyway.

DO NOT DIP!This will damage the coin's surface. This coin is copper nickel and will not respond to dipping. You can try acetone or alcohol, maybe lemon juice or vinegar. The later two are questionable as they are acids as well and may damage the surface.
