What a game!!!! I won $1300 in my pool with the DAL win! I went 13-2 this week!! I just finished off my 74 Red Sox set with the last 12 cards in one shot thanks to those Cowboys!

HOW BOUT THEM COWBOYS!!!!
Seriously, I can't stand the Cowboys, but $1300 is $1300.
:-D Can't wait to pick up my new BluRay player and those 74 Topps Red Sox!!!
Unless the Cowboys can find a way to consistently pressure opposing QB's, I believe we Dallas fans are in for another disappointing season. How many times did the Eagles face 2nd- and 3rd-and-long and end up with an easy conversion? I would love to see them scrap the 3-4 and go back to a 4-3 with Johnson and Ratliff providing a steady push up the middle. This could tie up the o-line enough to allow greater opportunities for the likes of Ware and Ellis. We could also benefit from more creative blitzes now and then.
We haven't had a consistent pass rush since the days of Tolbert and Haley, and haven't won a playoff game since then, either.
It's not realistic to expect the offense to shoulder the load each week. As good as they are, they aren't going to play mistake-free and simply outscore their opponents every game. Romo is sensational, but he is inclined to committ one or two turnovers (at least) per game. The defense has to get more stops and an occasional turnover to set up the offense once in a while.
There is a ton of talent on defense, but the scheme stinks. It's basically a low pressure/soft coverage combo that makes life easy for opposing passing attacks. They have the athletes in the secondary to play tighter coverage, and enough strength and speed in the front seven to bring more heat. Our defense is, in a word, soft.
