SSP + giveaway: (SSP lot sold- giveaway winner is goossen!)

UPDATE: lot has been SOLD, and goossen won the giveaway!
I sat down yesterday to work offline and give the forums a break from me and myself a break from the forums, and tried to catch up a little on some of my Darkside material.
I encountered a few BU moderns from less-commonly-seen countries, so I thought I might shout out to the OFEC collectors to see if I had anything they needed. Since these are cheap coins I have lumped them into one lot for convenience, and would prefer to sell them all in one go, but maybe the person who buys them can distribute them to the collectors who want them?
For those of you wondering about the acronym, "OFEC" stands for "One From Each Country" - a collecting strategy whereby somebody tries to accumulate at least one coin from every country. Some of these countries aren't terribly hard to find but I'll say this- I've never had a Nagorno-Karabakh before! And I don't usually get much Africa in my bulk lots except for South Africa and Egypt, for the most part.
All of the coins are Brilliant Uncirculated. I do not have pictures of them, and my pictures would stink, anyway, since I use a scanner and scanners kill luster. These are inexpensive but quite attractive pieces. I will use Don's World Coin Gallery to show you the designs of the coins, but remember that the ones you are seeing pictures of are not mine, and mine are BU examples.
Since no SSP thread should be without an associated giveaway, I will let the buyer of this lot take his or her pick between one of two freebies offered.
One, an MS63 RD BU (MS63 RD)1998 Guernsey 1-penny with the crab on the reverse,
OR, two, a BU (MS62 RD) 1983 Zambia 2-ngwee with the Martial eagle on the reverse.
Whichever of the two freebie coins above is NOT chosen by the buyer of the lot below will be awarded randomly to somebody who posts to this thread. So post only ONCE to enter the giveaway, please- I use a random number generator.
Here's the lot.
MOZAMBIQUE, 20 centavos, 1974. 3 coins, all MS63 RD in my opinion, but gemmy and look better, like MS65s would. These go $9.00 each in the 2007 Krause, making them a $27.00 value by themselves, but I am going to let all three PLUS all of the subsequent coins go in one lot, for less than that!
NAGORNO-KARABAKH, 5-drams, 2004. I would grade this MS65. Gem BU, in other words. It is the only Nagorno-Karabakh I have ever had, and my 2007 Krause only lists the 1998 issues, with the smallest denomination being 25,000 drams! I don't really have a catalog value on this but priced it at $2.00.
SLOVENIA, 1-tolar, 2000 MS64. Brown trout on the reverse. MS64. Catalogs $1.25 in the 2007 Krause.
SLOVENIA, 2-tolarja, 2004. Barn swallow. MS64. Catalogs $1.50 in 2007 Krause.
SLOVENIA, 5-tolarjev, 1998.. Ibex with freaky-long horns. MS63. Catalogs $1.50 in 2007 Krause.
One tolar, two tolarja, five tolarjev? I'll admit that Slovenia's plural forms have me a bit confused. I just call them all "tolar". They make a nice set.
SOMALIA, 1-centesimo, 1950. Elephant head on the obverse. When I hear "centesimo" I think of Latin America, not Africa. I just learned otherwise. I guess it must have been the Italian influence. I would call this coin MS63 RD but it suffers from a weak strike on the reverse. 2007 Krause has it at $2.00 UNC and $4.00 BU but I figured this one at $1.50.
SOMALIA, 5-shillings (5-scellini), 1999. There's that elephant again, in a full-body pose. MS63, F.A.O. issue. Catalogs $1.50 UNC and $1.75 BU. I went with the $1.50 UNC price though the coin is BU. You save a whole quarter. Wow.
There's something about elephants on coins. I dunno what it is. They're just appealing somehow. I believe we had a thread about this not long ago.
UGANDA, 2-shillings, 1987. MS63 RD. I love the reverse design on this. The coin catalogs $1.50 BU but I called it $1.00.
SUBTOTAL FOR THE LOT ABOVE (including your choice of one of the freebies mentioned): $25.25. Let's just say 75 cents for shipping so the price is a nice round $26.00 for everything here (except whichever of the two freebies you don't choose, which will be given to the random drawing winner).
That's ten coins plus one freebie, and then the second freebie goes to the random drawing.
I remind you that even with my tiny shipping fee, the price on this entire lot does not even equal the Krause value of the three Mozambique cons alone.

Looks like you've probably already sold them but please count me in on the giveaway!
If it's the crab and I win, please give it to a deserving YN.
Thanks for the chance!
I've currently got 57 countries in my collection...including the ones that no longer exist! (Also including the USA) I had 29 until I bought my first bulk lot two months ago and got a whole bunch more!
If I can't sell the whole lot, I will sell it to him. If somebody buys the lot, hopefully they will.
I just didn't want to deal with the individual sale and shipping of a dozen cheap coins like this right now.
<< <i>I've never even HEARD of Nagorno-Karabakh, let alone get a coin from there!
>>
Like Transdnistria and several other places Nagorno-Karabakh is not an internationally recognised country but a breakaway region which effectively operates as an independent republic, including issuing its own coinage. It's one of several such regions in the Caucasus including the two breakaway Georgian regions that have been in the news a lot recently (I don't believe they don't issue their own money however). Nagorno-Karabakh is officially, under international law, considered part of Azerbaijan.
The history of the Caucasus is very interesting and worth reading about if you're so inclined, the region having been on the major trade route between east and west (the silk road) for many centuries. The number of tribal groups and languages spoken in the region is incredible.

I haven't forgotten that I also have a cheap holey coin giveaway going, too. I'll probably wrap both giveaways up at the same time.
Such as Nagorno-Karabakh.

goossen!
Congratulations, goossen, you are now the proud owner of a 1983 BU Zambia 2-ngwee piece! Don't spend it all in one place!
So, if someone decides to be enterprising & buy a bunch for resale, they could turn a decent profit, if demand is big enough on this Forum..............
