Heritage trackers ~vs~ EBay watchers

So I know you can have 30 EBay watchers and not a single one bids on the auction. image

However if there are 30 Heritage trackers what percentage will actually bid image

On Heritage live auctions I can start out tracking 200 to 300 coins but by the time I am ready to bid, in the last 2 or 3 hours, I have narrowed that done to the 2 or 3 coins that I realy want. So that means I bid on about 2 to 3% of the coins I track.

I probably bid on about 10% of the coins I follow on Heritage. I am watching 15 right now, and I may bid on 1 or 2.
Listen. Strange women lying in ponds distributing swords is no basis for a system of government. Supreme executive power derives from a mandate from the masses, not from some farcical aquatic ceremony.

  • I put feeler bids out on probably 25% to 50% of what I am tracking but I rarely make a serious effort to win due to buyer fees and my feeling that a lot of the coins get bid up to above market value so I don't bother....image
  • The Heritage data shows the number of trackers and the number of bidders for each lot, so you can look and figure it out.

I think most people that track Heritage probably bid on something too, as they are not the game players and scammers like eBay Peopleoids.

BTW, 10 people tracking a lot at Heritage is "big action", most lots only have 3 or 4 tracking.

I don't even track the lots I want to bid on, because I think it still tips your hand too much. I write the lots down on paper and do not bid until the last second
