I'm not convinced that the bursting of a credit bubble and an unraveling financial infrastructure are good for gold or for coins. In the end, it's all deflationary.

Yep, big fall in the markets today followed by another bull market in X years time. Load up while there's blood on the streets imo.

That's why I've been selling most of my coins.

Andy, I agree with your comment in terms of long term concerns. The only thing that's good for gold and coin owners is short term here. The stock market will drop 5-10% today but gold will at least hold its value (granted, it's dropped 25% in the last month or two).

I wonder how this upcoming trading session will affect the Heritage and Goldberg auctions...

Despite a 4%+ fall in the FTSE my target prices aren't reached yet........hmmmm, I guess that's the fun of it too.

Totally agree. I feel like a kid in a candy store. Great market for picking up short-term flips and long-term blue chip holds.

I think gold is the only play. It is up over $50 today. The sell off was bank manipulation and the rebound should be strong with the miners reducing output, and India jewelery demand going back up.
