Baylor 45 Washington State 17
Maryland 35 California 27
Oklahoma 55 Washington 14
BYU 59 UCLA 0
New Mexico 36 Arizona 28
UNLV 23 Arizona State 20
TCU 31 Stanford 14
And can anyone tell me why USC decided to take the week off before and the week off after the Ohio State game ?
It was a home game too.
You know, the Ohio State team that didn't score it's first touchdown until the end of the 3rd quarter against Ohio U at home

The record in BCS bowl games says it. So do the three BCS national championships over the last five years and the number of NFL draft choices.
But another indicator that the SEC plays the best football in the country can be traced to the 2008 NFL opening-day rosters. The SEC had more former players on NFL opening-day rosters (259) than any other conference this season. The ACC was second (254), followed by the Big Ten (227), the Pac-10 (178), the Big 12 (170) and Big East (87).
The SEC has led the country in the number of players on NFL opening-day rosters since 2001.

I'm not sure why either. I also see USC has an extra week off before they play NDame. I really think they are starting the season too early for a 12 game schedule and being they always end up playing a bowl game near Jan 1. They should be starting all the major games mid Sept and only allow the teams 1 bye week during the season, but we know that won't happen. Maybe the early start and the late bowl games allows the players to have extra focus on their studies. lol
Also, We need a playoff system!
cross the Rocky mountains for a game. Its only September yet they will be favored in every game they play at least by two touchdowns.
As much as DO NOT like USC, I think I am open minded enough to concede they deserve to be ranked inthe top spot at this time

Are you talking about USC? They played Virginia at Virginia a few weeks ago. I think they had to cross the rocky mountains... unless they went the long way, via Japan!? UVA will probably win their conference and USC spanked them. Same for Ohio State. Hard to say their schedule is a joke. I mean they don't play all those tough directional schools, like the SEC plays, Georgia Southern, Central Michigan, etc... but otherwise I think $C plays a pretty good out of conference schedule.
As to the original post, earlier today I attempted to take back any suggestion I made last week that the Pac 10 deserved respect. A day like yesterday is am embarrasement to the conference. As I said earlier today... is it time for basketball yet!?

I agree with you on most of that except the part about UVA. They lost to UConn by 35 this week and will be lucky to get to a bowl game.
