Hey man, I'd like to drink that Kool Aid too, but at Nebraska, plus Texas and Kansas on the schedule is tough. If they win out, they'll certainly play for the national title, but that's a LOT to ask.

Missouri has been and is pretty good in football for the past year or so.

However, when one thinks of College Football Champions. Missouri is not a team that immediately pops into one's mind.

Maybe that will change if the Tigers run the table.

They are much better than the Golden Buffalos of Colorado, not doubt.

They haven't played so well against OU. OU has always owned Missouri and I don't see that changing. For the record, I grew up in Oklahoma so I am admittedly biased here (though the facts are certainly in my favor).

BTW - I like Missouri and I root for them when they are not playing OU. They are a very good team and Chase Daniel is a great QB. The Big 12 is absolutely loaded at that position.

Before last year, the last time they had double digits wins in a season was 1960. I expect them to drop back down to their consistent 8 win seasons once Chase Daniels is gone.

To be honest, Chase doesn't have the strongest arm in the world.
We are pretty excited about Blaine Gabbert, ESPN's #5 QB recruit this year.

    Gabbert

Goot- awesome USF win last night!!

Missouri is an excellent team. Daniel AND Maclin should both be near the top of the Heisman lists. I imagine it will come down to a win in the B12 championship to get to the title game. Looks like USC may run the table. Therfore, they may need Georgia to lose as well, which will likely happen. There's a lot of football left, but I like Mizzou's chances. Their offense is phenomenal but they need to tighten the D a bit.

I would not be surprised to see them play USC in the Title game... but for this to happen, their defense needs to improve and I suspect it will as the season progresses.
