  • Thanks. Shame it is such a bad example of such a great series. Regardless of that I love this coin. It looks like maybe 1793 to me.

    Much nicer than mine. Actually, I was concerned about what I perceived to be significant differences. In fact, your thaler resembles the photo in my Kraus.
    However, I checked the Ritter website. The 1802 thaler pictured there closely resembles mine, except that the "8" on my thaler is more to the left than on the Ritter thaler.
