I fully expect this thread to receive zero (0) replies. But with my Giants and A's [long] out, I want to make it known that I am rooting for a Brewers and Rays World Series.

P.S. I would also accept an Angels versus Dodgers World Series.

    that would be pretty cool actually. I like seeing new blood. screw the networks who want the sox or cubs for the ratings.

    A team that has never won is good drama.

    It would be a ratings disaster for Fox but it could be an interesting matchup anyway.

    The Fox dream matchup in the World Series would probably be Cubs vs Red Sox. Two storied teams in big city markets.

    I think that the Cubs should count as a team that has never won.

    There would be some pretty amazing pitching matchups if it was a Brewers/Rays series. Of course, the same could be said if ithe Cubs were in instead of the Brewers.

    I would love to see the Brewers get there. It has been rumored that the PTBNL in the Sabathia deal hinges on the Brewers making the post season.

    If the Red Sox dont make it I dont care what AL team makes it as long as its not the Yankees or Rays- Im still hating the Rays due to that brawl earlier in the season. As far as the NL I would love to see the Cubbies win it all, not a big deal either way though as long as the Mets are not there.

    With 2 weeks left a few teams left for dead are making runs.

    The Astro's, and Blue Jays are making it tough.

    Can't rule the Astros out, but following pennant races for a long time, it's very tough to climb over 2 teams for a playoff spot - it's a lot, a lot easier to just have to climb over 1 team. Astros have to climb over the Phillies and the Brewers and that is very, very tough to do at this late stage.
