Ordering Britannia from Royal Mint

I just broke down and finally put my order in for the 2008 silver Britannia.
To my surprise I found that when I logged int omy account the prices are less that posted when you view them before logging in.
The 2008 silver Britannia was 16.97 before I logged in and 14.53 after. The proof version was a full 7 pounds less also!
While it is still a stiff premium It was nice to see they give the small time collector a break.
Must say they sure know how to treat their customers right across the pond.

That is a very nice silver 2 Quid Britannia that you've got there.I've got a 1998 one in my collection.
Britannias are NOT pure silver!
