Curious Bunch Of High Grade (PSA 8) Vintage Cards On Ebay (Mantle, Aaron, Williams, etc.)

Up for auction on ebay are the following cards:
1956 topps #79 Sandy Koufax PSA 8
1952 Topps #37 Duke Snider PSA 8
1951 Bowman #165 Ted Williams PSA 8
1956 Topps #31 Hank Aaron PSA 8
1949 Bowman #226 Duke Snider PSA 8
1951 Bowman #134 Warren Spahn PSA 8
1956 Topps Ted Williams #5 NM-MT PSA 8
1956 topps #135 Mickey Mantle PSA 8
Is it just me, or do all the cards appear to be "low end" PSA 8? In particular, does the Snider, Spahn and Aaron look PSA 8 "worthy"? The seller has no history of selling OR buying vintage cards ... well at least on this account. Am I just being paranoid (as usual)? He's in L.A. Maybe I should email him and see if he is willing for an in person meeting to inspect the cards.

I've done business with this seller about 6 months ago, and everything went well.
He did and still does offer "free w/ local pickup", though I didn't use that option for obvious reasons.
He doesn't list very often, but when he does, he always has high grades.
