Its a manual focus, which is great for taking close ups, but very difficult to get the whole coin to be in focus. It seems to like Florescent light (5000K) over other types of lighting.
The only photo editing I do is crop and resize, no color or contrast changes.
I've been playing with it for about 6 months, and I think I'm finaly getting to the point I like it more than my Sony Point & Shoot.....
Thanks. That's the one I was looking to buy. Pricey devils.
I have Mark's book and I think my problem is technique, not equipment. I should practice more and get better with my point-and-shoot (Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX2).

Bought one of the little buggers at the Atlanta Whitman show. Also bought the "copy stand" type base for it. Been too busy to play much though.
BTW nice pics.

Need the following OBW rolls to complete my 46-64 Roosevelt roll set: 1947-P & D; 1948-D; 1949-P & S; 1950-D & S; and 1952-S. Any help locating any of these OBW rolls would be gratefully appreciated!

I;m ashamed to admit that I actually expected to see a 2001 or 2002 date on a SAE pocket piece!
The name is LEE!
Good job.
