Can't believe at one time not too long ago the Phillies had like a 4 1/2 game lead and were coasting.

Oh well, thank goodness the Eagles are going to beat the Cowboys on Monday night and are going to the Super Bowl or I'd be depressed.

I can't believe what I am hearing.

last year the Sillies made up 7 or 8 games with 17 to play.

This year they are down LESS then 3 with 17 or 18 to play and the Sillies fans here
are giving up?

No Phillies fan I know has given up, but we have to look at reality that it's getting late and if you understand baseball and have witnessd a lot of pennant races, and understand the ebb and flow of this season for the Phillies and how that translates into a possible pennant, I have to say that it isn't looking good...and I sincerely hope that I am wrong.

Appearently they must not watch baseball. The Mets just swept the Brewers in a 3 game series last week.

oh, that's right, you guys faced sabbathia and beat him. my mistake.

NO that's right. mets didnt' face him. and they'd get CC twice in a series. they were going to lose the game against ben sheets until he came out of the game because of a tweaked groin.
