Purchase from CoinsAreNeat

Hello all,
The next episode regarding my dealings with CoinsAreNeat. I purchased a 1913-S Type II Buffalo Nickel from CoinsAreNeat on eBay Link. Here is my opinion.
The Good.
(1) The coin was as described, and the date was at least discernible, albeit partial.
(2) Shipment was fast. I paid on Friday and the coin arrived on Monday on a Maryland to California transit.
Room for Improvement:
(1) The inner packaging for the coin was in a Ziploc bag or equivalent, which
(a) Makes it difficult to confirm that the coin has not been switched in case a return occurs, and
(b) Makes the coin slide quite a bit, which would not have been good if it were an uncirculated coin.
(2) The original Paypal invoice required a $25.00 shipping charge, even though the auction description said that there would be no charge. This was resolved after some communication, but I would beware to make sure that people actually read the invoice.

I did a trade with him and was overall pleased with it
You also have to remember you're dealing with a youth
<< <i>Should have been in a PM to coinsareneat.

This was to be more of a review than anything else.
I wish coinsareneat the best. This is the easiest way to get an education in dealing. I've enjoyed coinsareneat, even with unsolicited offerings. He will just get better, as we all should.
<< <i>That is not a review. This is your 3rd thread going after this person. It sounds like you have a personal problem with the seller(who I have never dealt with). Others seem satisfied with the seller. >>
What do you mean by it's not a review? What I'm stating is a dealing with a Forum Member, and my opinions thereof. FYI, here is the BST link too

You have started more than a few threads about him. You have to understand how that looks to other forum members. I mean this respectfully, but this is how these threads look to us:
a) You have some weird personal vendetta against a YN who doesn't know any better, or
b) You are CoinsAreNeat's alt just trying to drum up business by constantly bringing up his coins
Now, those two things are probably (more or less) untrue, but that's how many of us see your actions.

All I'm trying to do is make sure people know what they're buying into. A different question. If CoinsAreNeat were an older person, would it have made any difference?
I bet carolj wanted to tell me to shuddup a few times...
just as she promised to tell me when the sky was fallin'

You are not talking about a deal on the BST you are talking about a ebay transaction. This just seems like the longest most drawn out nuetral feedback ever.
Did you get the coin described or not? If you did then what is your point?

Please review my original post and (I believe) Post #7, where I point to the BST link to the eBay link.
(To post below). I bought the coin from eBay, but since it was on a link from the BST, then that to me qualifies as a BST transaction.
1/2 Cents
U.S. Revenue Stamps
<< <i>To the OP: Are you also publicly reviewing every other coin purchase you make online? If not, it seems like a vendetta. >>
To the first question, no I'm not.
Which parts of it are a vendetta? I'm just trying to state items that people need to be aware of when dealing with certain sellers, whether they be YNs, or established dealers.
(Edit): If I wanted to make it a vendetta, I could have said that the coin was lousy.
However, I simply do not understand why you continue to bring this up. Most of the folks here are adults who are fully aware of what they are doing and to continue to hammer on coinsareneat just seems a little..........obsessive.
Now you are down to the point of criticizing the way he packages his coins!
Its almost as if you don't really have any complaints so now you move to a "Room for Improvement" card?
The name is LEE!
<< <i>Was it the kind of ziplock bag which once sealed yellow and blue turn green
After further review, it was actually in a coin poly bag. My mistake.

So no P&J sandwich crumbs
Get over it and move on, if you don't like the way coinsareneat handles things then don't buy from him.

The OP:
<< <i>IMHO this is getting way out of hand. Do you critique every coin purchase that you make and publish your issues? It appears that you have something against Coinsareneat and this should be handled via private PM's instead of on the threads. This is the third thread on this forum and you had one on the BST forum.

Why are you so in favor of CoinsAreNeat? And in fact, if I find something that I don't like with a purchase, you can be sure I will make comments on the forum.
Also, I have made tons of mistakes when I first started and if you really think about it when we first started collecting we were all once a YN. Not age wise but expierence wise.
