It's 17 gms of gold. With our economy turning into communism with this Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae bale out., it is the safest place to put your Dollars, I feel. So I picked smoething beautiful to look at during the coming Dollar demise.

Very neat, and attractive, in a postmodern sort of way. I like it. image

I heard somewhere that France is actually going to have a circulating gold coin soon, possibly already. I can't remember where I heard it though, perhaps WorldWide Coins' latest issue. That's pretty cool.

I like a lot of the French designs and your new purchase is among them, theboz. I just got my first French Euro in the mail yesterday.

In reality, given the popularity of the Marianne and Napoleon 20FF coins and their availability in the banks etc. pre-Euro in a sense they were circulating gold, just not at 20FF however, usually melt plus a small percentage.
