Amazing what hard economic times will shake loose, Numismaticly speaking. 1893cc GSA

<< <i>do you have a story to go with the coin? >>
I was first offered this about 5 years ago from a dealer I seldom do buisness with. At that time I did not have the cash and had to pass.
The collector that purchased this back then needed to sell do to economic times. The dealer offered it to me and I pulled the trigger.
The lesson I learned from this is, Never completely burn a bridge with a numismatic connection, even when you have valid reasons to do so.

wow i guess plastic can be a thing aye
<< <i>Isn't that the only known 1893-CC GSA? >>
No, You are thinking of the hard plastic case, which there is one of. This is a "flat pack" and one known to my knowledge.
That makes two GSA 93cc's known.

<< <i>I find it amazing that this coin was sitting in a bag in some vault up till the 70s. Wow >>
I am still amazed this piece was offered to me twice in a five year period. Maybe I should buy a lottery ticket.
