He might not get people to forget Michael Vick right away but he has to be pleased with his first regular season game with the Falcons, 34-21 over the Lions.

A TD pass with his first throw, now that is cool.

    Probably so but he can savor the moment for a little while at least.

    Nobody cares about Michael Vick. He's a thug in jail. What we're talking about now is real football players. Matt Ryan is great for the Falcons, but what's even greater is the running game. Is Garcia going to play or not?

    The big question for me right now is what the weather is going to be like. The hurricane is going to be in the Gulf and those outer bands usually reach the coast. Maybe a little rain to go along with "The Burner" Turner!!

    Chris Redman is the backup for the Falcons and very capable of running the offense. In fact, he is probably at the same level, if not beter than Ryan. No problem there!
