"Peace Junk": What do you think about this 1922?

I know it isnt the greatest, but I dont think it is junk either. What are your thoughts?

<< <i>Just a bit better than junk. I really like that circulated honest wear look. >>
I like your use of honest wear here.
to offer more then melt in my mind.
i'm clueless on proofs but look at 22's incase the tiarra spike is even with bottom base of "e"
22's tiarra spikes are usually fatter aren't they?
i could be ramblin nothing too here
nice looking "peace junk" you got there

The Peace is worth melt to me, sorry.

The strike is very strong on that coin... for a business struck piece
Here is one with less wear but definitely less hair detail, too.
COINFUSED.

Neither would I!

I think the tiara spikes look a bit sharper than usual for two reasons:
1) The "Circ-Cam" look accentuates the appearance of sharp details.
2) The obverse has strike-doubling (you can see it on her neck above the "9").
This can actually make the spikes appear thinner, depending upon how the die bounces across them.

My first thought was that the strike is incredible.
I am not qualified to diagnose it as a proof -
Assuming it is a circulated business strike, you rarely see '22s with that much detail in any grade. Even if it is 'worth' near melt money, if you line that coin up with 100 others it will be the one that sells every time.
Nice pick up.
