Whom purchased Joliet State Prison from the State of Illinois?????? Looks like were going to need every prison we have before this is all over!!!

    I just drove by there last week. That part of Joliet has seen better days.

    What can you expect from a prison area...that prison is historical and who would want to live on the site where thousands of people have met their death....Damn Governor has bankrupted the state and is now selling off real estate...Wouldn't it be something if he sold off the governors mansion!!! image

    I drive by there once a week and there are always people out front taking pictures of it....It has such a history that I can not vision someone bulldozing it and making homes on the site...I sure would not want to live where a prison once stood!...the area is up an coming...maybe they will do something other than bulldoze it!
