MS68 1971-S IKE Dollar

I see that there are now two of these in the Pop Reports.

Gabriel Murphy made (or bought) #1, anybody know who made #2? image
I decided to change calling the bathroom the John and renamed it the Jim. I feel so much better saying I went to the Jim this morning.



The name is LEE!

    I still haven't seen it show up in anyone's Registry Set.

    Just in case he hasn't seen this thread, PM Mitch. He either made it or possibly knows who did, I'd think.

    I did not make the coin nor do I know for certain who slabbed the 2nd coin either. I am surprised the coin has not come up for auction yet nor shown up in a registry set. I own about -5- coins worthy for the MS68 grade (most still in 67 holders). One day, I hope to make one of these - I have been trying to slab an MS68 since about 1988 (started putting the nice ones aside around 1982) but have no intention to stop now.

    image I have personally went thru several thousand 1971-S Blue Packs. I have made about 21 pcs in PCGS MS67 but NO MS68'S image

    I have always kept the better MS67's and I have a couple of coins I think should be MS68's. I will keep trying,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
