It seems that Geovany Soto (NL) and Evan Longoria (AL) are locks for the Rookie of the Year awards. Are there any rookies who are in a position to out do what Soto and Longoria have done this year?

Don't count out Alexei Ramirez of the White Sox to get some serious consideration for AL ROY.
He does have the numbers to back it up: .305 AVG, 16 HR, 64 RBI, .322 OBP, .488 SLG, and has committed only 11 errors as a middle infielder.
Longoria's numbers: .278 AVG, 22 HR, 71 RBI, .352 OBP, .533 SLG, 8 errors at 3B.
Of course, I might be a little biased towards Ramirez since I'm a White Sox fan...
Collecting: Topps 1952-79, Bowman 1952-55, OPC 1965-71, and Pre-War White Sox cards
Longoria was a unanimous pick, while Soto got 31/32 1st place votes (the other vote going to Joey Votto).
