What interested me at first look at your new MPL collection is that with only 5 of the 9 coins you have a higher set score than all the guys with 8 of the 9 coins. It shows how much PCGS values the 1909VDB in particular, but also the 1916, 1915 and 1912. I'm looking forward to actually seeing the photographing you describe. Hope it works within the PCGS set registry system.

i think it'd be neat to view a set by images that not only include it's coins imaged but one to include the close-up diagnostics imaged too
a all in one type of presentation...neat
many diagnostics threads exsist but this can be a consolidated one that many can be reffered too...this should find applause in it's own rights
ensure the root path to images aren't lost for future interest
a lil btw...i'm really surprized to see that 09 plain in your set as that was one beauty not to of been snagged up very quick
congrats on yet another jaw dropping set that isn't hid from us...i still wonder why some sets stay in hiding but that is not my buissness

Thanks Ted, for all the nice comments. And regarding the 1909, you hit the nail on the head.
I am as, or more, surprised then anyone, including Brian! I do understand that people got hung up on a (basically invisible) reverse vestigial fingerprint fragment, as if a perfect coin exists!! I have two differant 1909 plains, and while the first is an absolute knockout, the toning on the one I selected for this set is wonderful, and fits the set perfectly - I feel fortunate to have had a second chance to pick it up. Even with "just" a PR65 rating, I still chose it to fill the 1909 slot, even though the other 1909 PR66 sits in my vault. The toning on this 1909 PR 65RB is utterly unique and wonderful, and truly undervalued. Just look around, and see if you can find another even close -- anywhere..... Brian Wagner has selected that coin as his avatar, and as he has seen hundreds of 1909s of all grades and colors, so that tells you a little something about the coin!
I will buy these beautiful and rare coins all day long, as long as they are available!
Others can make their own decisions. But I'm not looking a gift horse in the mouth.....
