SSDC Membership Question

Background ... sent membership application and check to SSDC (Society of Silver Dollar Collectors) back around July 20th. So far I haven't received anything, so I emailed the membership guy (B. Fogelberg) earlier this week with a question about my status. No reply to that either.

Questions:

Is SSDC still up and running?

Anyone else have this type of issue with them?

Once this gets cleared up, what should I expect to receive from them and will it come electronically or via snail-mail?

Since the group is all volunteer they are slow. I have heard the flow of how it works makes things travel around a few times. I sent mine in several months ago and then one day I got my first email.

Just realize it is slow but well worth it.

My check was sent off Wednesday. I guess I'll settle in for a bit of a wait. After the turnaround times on my last few PCGS submissions I'm used to it.

I'm happy to finally join and look forward to getting VAMview.

Membership processing has always been very slow. Drop a line with Ash Harrison and John Baumgart and get on the mailing list. They should be able to do that right away and get you VAM-e and the latest VAMView. Don't know what the rates are now, but a life membership was a relative bargain when I joined.
