First Strike Bonus?

I'm not a big fan of 1st Strikes. However, since we have them, I believe that they should be worth bonus points in the registry. Agreed?

...it would add a little separation for bullion coins.

Most sets now have First Strike only sets AND other sets include both.

    Agree.

I also think that PCGS First Strike™ slabs which occur before 2005 should equally have bonus points however, I have confirmed with PCGS that those coins, even though slabbed as First Strike™ coins, will not be "required" or get any additional bonus for being in a First Strike™ registry set.

Nope, there is no difference between "First Strike" coins and non-"First Strike" coins; thus, no reason for a distinction in the Registry.

I see PCGS reversed the decision to no longer let collectors submit first strike submissions.

Not even in the Registry Sets which include First Strike™ coins?

For example, "Silver Eagles Complete Set with First StrikesTM, Circulation Strikes and Proof (1986-Present)".
This set has the following Business Strike slots:

    1986
    1987
    1988
    1989
    1990
    1991
    1992
    1993
    1994
    1995
    1996
    1997
    1998
    1999
    2000
    2001
    2002
    2003
    2004
    2005 First Strike
    2005
    2006 First Strike
    2006
    2006-W First Strike
    2006-W
    2007 First Strike
    2007
    2007-W First Strike
    2007-W
    2008 First Strike
    2008
    2008-W First Strike
    2008-W
2008-W Reverse of 2007 First Strike
    2008-W Reverse of 2007

First Strike Silver Eagles are available in the open market for 1988, 1990, 1991, 1992, 1993, 1994, 1995, 1997, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, and 2004. Since they are available and are graded as First Strike™ coins, AND there is a distinction between 2005 and 2005 First Strike™ SAE's in the set, why not have them as options for the set? That way, a fellow could have a 1999 SAE and a First Strike™ SAE in his registry.

Currently, 2 coins are REQUIRED for 2005, 4 coins for 2006 and 2007 with 6 coins for 2008!

As it is right now, from a registry perspective, those that are collecting First Strike™ SAE's or GAE's or PAE's have the choice of putting either their First Strike™ coin in the registry or their non-First Strike™ coin but not both.

I would like to see both.
