Do you trust graded GAI unopened wax?

    Off the top of my head I think 70 fb is 30 cards, 71 is 23 (d*mn inflation) and 72 was 20 cards. I know 70 baseball is 33 cards, 71 is 30. Looks like Topps would lower the count towards the end of the year.

    Current obsession, all things Topps 1969 - 1972

    Well I know that the 1973 Topps Football Cello has 25 cards, I opened one along with the 71 pack so that's why the 71 having 23 kinda threw me for a loop....

    That's interesting, too, as 1973 BB cellos contain 27 cards. Guess Topps cut costs later that year by shorting FB collectors 2 cards per cello pack, LOL.


    Collecting 1970s Topps baseball wax, rack and cello packs, as well as PCGS graded Half Cents, Large Cents, Two Cent pieces and Three Cent Silver pieces.

    yes my 1973 baseball cellos also contain 27 cards per pack but i did have an instance where i got 28 one time with 2 #255 reggie jackson cards ...when i counted there was 28 not sure how that happened but i was happy...image
