This piece came to me marked as an O-111, but someone questioned the attribution. Can anyone confirm/deny the attribution?

Thanks,
Jeremy

<< <i>Looks to be 122. Definately not 111 due to relationship between the right end of scroll on reverse and AM above. >>
One day I'd like to meet okbustchaser. Seems like he has an encyclopedic knowledge of bust coins. Him and quarternut gotta have more brain cells devoted to bust attribution than the entire front row at a stripclub.

I too would like to meet OK, he's the one who really got me started on the bust halves and has answered sooo many dumb questions of mine.
As for the attribution, i'm at work without the book so i'm of no real help, sorry. But i wouldn't bet against OK. Did you compare images to those at coinzip?

Lanlord, if you or Mark ever make it to OKC dinner's on me. If it occurs after Mark turns 21 we might even see about the front row.
As for my alleged "encyclopedic" knowledge...thanks, but Quarternut (and many many others around here) have forgotten more than I have ever learned.

Haha now i have two dinner offers on the table! Very tempting for a college kid.
BTW, the O-122 die marriage is very easy to attribute due to the obverse rim break between star-5 & Star-6 and the die lines to the left of the date.
For the reverse, almost all of the devices are very similar to Reverse J (found on the O-111), but the M in AMERICA is lower than the E at the bottom.
I would think AU-53 to 55 as to grade. Looks like a nice Bust Half!
Just let me know when that dinner is happening in OKC and I will be there! (If Mark is old enough by then I'll bring the stack of ones!)
QN
Go to Early United States Coins - to order the New "Early United States Half Dollar Vol. 1 / 1794-1807" book or the 1st new Bust Quarter book!
<< <i>Dang! OK beat me to the punch, I knew I should have checked on here earlier!

Love to have you too. Just don't bring dollar coins!

Any coins I would bring will be Quarters or halves!
Paper is the only appropriate medium for the club...

I would offer the fine ladies Kennedy's or Ike's, but then they would show me the door....and rightfully so
.... so bills it is

So it's 21 years of age out there? Here in Ohio it's only 18... not that i'd know or anything... Ignore this post
Hummmm, maybe if you have a REAL good time on the front row...
Edit to add: Jeremy, sorry about the left turn your thread took. By the way, you're definately invited too!
<< <i>Thanks for the help! >>
Sorry for hijacking your thread along with the help. I'm sure Jim won't mind if you come to dinner as well.
I heard OK is taking us out for steak!

See my edit above.
You would add some class to us bust half guys at the dinner table.
This is all starting to sound better and better
